Job description

Parfumado is scaling across Europe, and we're looking for a senior, entrepreneurial leader to shape the next chapter of that growth. This is a rare, dual-mandate role: you'll own our fragrance category in the Benelux (our home market) and emerging markets (UK, Nordics) while leading Parfumado's launch into new markets (e.g. DACH region). 

Part strategy, part hands-on building. You'll grow and optimise the assortment we already have, and open the doors (brand houses, distributors, retail partners) that turn Parfumado into a household name in a brand-new market. Groundwork is already underway, with promising partnerships and real momentum to build on.

Your first 90 days

We're hiring a builder, so we're being explicit about where you start:

  • Audit the current assortment per market and category KPIs, and identify the highest-leverage optimisations

  • Map the German fragrance distributor and retail landscape, and open the first serious partnership conversations

  • Set the initial commercial foundation for Germany
    (pricing, margin and forecasting assumptions) ahead of the assortment being final

What you'll do

Assortment & category strategy — Benelux

  • Own the fragrance assortment and category strategy across the Benelux

  • Curate and manage our niche and prestige brand portfolio & retail & distributor partnerships

  • Set and steer the KPIs — assortment performance, forecasting, margins, sell-through and campaign metrics such as click-through and conversion

  • Continuously optimise the assortment based on data and performance

  • Lead brand activations and campaigns in close collaboration with the Head of Brand, and coach junior team members

New market launches & partnerships 

Own Parfumado's go-to-market category strategy for Germany and new European markets

  • Build and negotiate strategic partnerships with brand houses, distributors and key retail partners

  • Source and onboard the niche and prestige brands that define our German assortment

  • Set the commercial foundation for the new market — assortment, pricing, forecasting, margins and KPIs

  • Lead launch campaigns and activations tailored to the German consumer

  • Build the local network and, over time, help grow the local team

  • Work closely with other departments (CRM, content, design and operations) 

  • You'll coach junior team members as the category grows, and report directly to our founder.

Job requirements

What we're looking for

Need to have

  • 8+ years in brand partnerships, category management or commercial roles, ideally within fragrance or beauty 

  • A strong existing network across brand houses and corporate partners, with the credibility to open doors for strategic retail partnerships when entering a new market

  • A strategic yet hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable building in a fast-scaling environment

  • Commercially sharp, comfortable owning KPIs and working with data and performance metrics

  • A natural relationship-builder and storyteller

  • Fluent in English, ideally also German; Dutch is a plus

Nice to have

  • Proven experience working with German fragrance distributors and/or key retail partners

We're setting a deliberately wide salary range for this role (€67k-77k) because we're hiring for the experience and impact you bring, not a fixed level.
